Flight Review

WHY DO FLIGHT REVIEWS EXIST?

At Helicopter Pro, our courses follow FAA guidelines and regulations, including flight reviews. To stay compliant, you will need to complete a flight review every 24 months with a certified flight instructor. Flight reviews are a great way to ensure you are safely operating helicopters, as well as brush up on skills, maneuvers, and procedures that you don't use in your normal day-to-day flying. Flight reviews are not passed or failed and can be conducted by any current CFI.

FLIGHT REVIEW REQUIREMENTS

FAR 61.56 states the minimum criteria for a flight review is one hour of ground and one hour of flight. The review must include the following:

Current general operating and flight rules of CFR 14 Part 91.
Special Federal Regulation No.73 requires some R44 pilots to complete a 12 month flight review.

A review of those maneuvers and procedures that, at the discretion of the person giving the review, are necessary for the pilot to demonstrate the safe exercise of the privileges of the pilot certificate.

At Helicopter Pro, our CFI Mark can assist you in performing your flight review. Connect with us today to schedule your review.
